Great news for Isa Warps: the creative midfielder and forward has received another call-up for the Indonesian women's national team. During a period when there were no internationals on the calendar, she has been able to fully develop her game. Now she can't wait to reunite with her teammates and coaching staff.
"I'm really, really looking forward to it," says Isa. "It will be great to see everyone again and take to the field together."
FIFA Window Opens New Doors
The matches are scheduled during the FIFA international window from 7 to 18 April 2026 — an important moment when national teams across the world come together for fixtures.
Although Isa has already received her call-up, the schedule is not yet fully confirmed. Initially, it appeared that Indonesia would participate in the Bangkok Tri-Nations Tournament alongside Singapore and Hong Kong. The tournament was set to take place in Thailand, but it has since become clear that the organisation remains uncertain.
In response, the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) is working on an alternative plan.
Possible Tournament in Bogor
There is a good chance Indonesia will be in action on home soil. The PSSI has plans to organise a tournament at the Pakansari Stadium in Bogor.
Which countries they will face is not yet known. However, it seems likely that Hong Kong and Singapore could still be among the potential opponents.
For Isa, it makes little difference.
"Wherever we play, it's just great that we're coming back together as a team and getting to play matches."
Strong Development at Warbeyen Frauen
In recent months, Isa has developed significantly at Warbeyen Frauen. Playing in the 2. Bundesliga proved to be a valuable and educational experience.
"It's a demanding professional league with a lot of talent," says Isa. "I've really learned an enormous amount there."
The intensity of the competition has helped her take steps forward both physically and mentally.
"I've been able to grow so much — mentally and physically. I'm taking all of that with me into the national team."

A Key Period for the Team
The upcoming international window is an important moment for the Indonesian team to regroup, find their rhythm again, and continue building towards future tournaments.
For Isa, it is also a great opportunity to showcase her qualities as both a midfielder and a forward at the international level.

Ready for What's Coming 🇮🇩
Despite the schedule not being fully set, Isa's overriding feeling is one of excitement. The call-up feels like a great next step in her development.
"I'm really looking forward to it."
