The coming weeks are all about preparation. On November 26, we play against Nepal, and on November 29, Chinese Taipei awaits. Two friendlies in Jogjakarta, full of sun, atmosphere, and football. Not just matches, but steps toward something bigger: the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand.
Nepal – Fight and Discipline
Nepal is no unknown name in Asia. They're known for their fighting spirit and discipline. With Sabitra Bhandari, a striker who scores in almost every match, they have a real finisher up front. Nepal is physically strong and compact. A team that forces you to play smart, control the tempo, and stay patient.
For us, it will be a test in concentration and teamwork. Not an easy opponent, but exactly the kind of match you need to become stronger.
Chinese Taipei – Experience and Technique
Three days later, we play against Chinese Taipei. A team with a lot of experience and a long history in Asian women's football. They've even won the AFC Women's Cup in the past, multiple times!
You can tell from their play that they're used to international pressure: technical, fast, and smart in their choices.
For us, this is a great opportunity to see how we handle teams with more experience. Can we keep playing our own game, even when the tempo increases?
Three Countries, Three Phases
What's beautiful about this friendly campaign is that each country is at a different point in their development:
Nepal: on the rise, compact and dangerous on the counterattack. Chinese Taipei: experienced and technically strong. Indonesia: full of talent and hungry for growth.
We're meeting each other at the right moment. Everyone is working toward something, everyone wants to move forward.
Looking Ahead to the SEA Games
The SEA Games 2025 in Thailand are getting closer and closer. There, we want to show that Indonesia belongs among Asia's subtop. These friendlies are the beginning of that story. They help us find our automatisms, test new combinations, and most importantly: build confidence.
And for me personally? Every minute on the pitch is a chance to learn, enjoy, and get better.
Jogjakarta, Here We Come
Jogjakarta will be the stage for two special matches. Not just for us as a team, but also for the fans who are growing women's football in Indonesia. Their energy, their enthusiasm. You feel it at every training, every match.
We don't just want to win. We want to inspire. Show that dreams are achievable, step by step, match after match.
